Karen Morton, known as ‘Kas,’ is the visionary behind Clay & Co Studio, which commenced its creative journey in January 2023.

Holding a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting and ceramics, Kas has transformed Clay & Co into a prominent artist co-working space in Cowes Industrial Estate, Phillip Island.

Currently, the studio accommodates five individual artists’ studios, housing painting, sculpture, and ceramics talents. The studios’ varying sizes are visible from the main gallery area through glass panel doors, inviting visitors to witness the artists in action.

The atmosphere is welcoming, and guests are encouraged to step in and engage with the artists when the doors are open.

Clay & Co also serves as a hub for artistic learning, hosting workshops covering a spectrum of disciplines, including life drawing, ceramics workshops, and term classes.

Additionally, they offer a firing service for those working with ceramics. 

The studio specializes in ceramics and sculpture, drawing, and painting. Furthermore, the art space is available for hire, catering to functions or group classes.
